I was born in 1981. In internet parlance, I believe that means I qualify as both an “80s kid” and a “90s kid” and have fond memories for both decades. Music was not necessarily better back then, but songs you hear when you’re growing up sure do strum at the ol’ heartstrings in a way that new stuff just can’t.
